Dj has devoted his life to understanding the inextricable link between humans, animals, and our world. Currently, a Learning Strategist at the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA) and a part-time associate professor in Virginia. He is an advising epidemiologist for numerous federal agencies in bioterrorism and public health surveillance. In addition, Dj is a currently completing a PhD program at Robert Morris University in Information Systems and Communication within the class of 2025. In addition to primary affiliations, Dj plays an active role in many projects and organizations across the human health, veterinary, and academic industries. His education started with an associate degree of Veterinary Technology at Blue Ridge Community College in 2009 and continued his education to complete a Master of Public Health at George Mason University in 2017. Dj has a strong passion for learning and thoroughly enjoys sharing his knowledge and experiences with others along the way. In his free time, Dj loves to travel everywhere possible and go on spontaneous outdoor adventures with his Australian Shepherd- Dahlia. He truly lacks the ability to sit in one place and loves deep conversations by the fire with friends as much as possible. If he were an animal, he would definitely be a chimpanzee. He enjoys their curiosity, playfulness, and intelligent nature.
