Carlos M Aguilar Miranda graduated from ITSON University in Sonora Mexico with a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 2014. He started to work as an equine veterinarian in August 2014. He continued his professional training with an internship in Surgery at Hagyard Equine Medical Institute in June 2015, followed by an internship in Equine Medicine & Surgery Internship at Louisiana State University in August 2016. He was granted with a Federal Scholarship from CONACYT and stipend by the Louisiana State University in 2018 for a master’s degree. He completed his master’s degree at the Veterinary Clinical Sciences Graduate Program at Louisiana State University in 2020. His research focus involves the use of regenerative therapies in osteoarthritic joints of horses. He will start a 3-4 years PhD and a Large Animal Surgery Residency at the university from Prince Edward Island in February 2021.
