My veterinary career has primarily been focused on clinical oncology and radiation oncology. As a clinical veterinary specialist, my focus is primarily on clinically-relevant questions and their potential clinical impact on both companion animals and humans alike. My primary research interests focus on precision of radiation delivery through image-guidance, adaptive radiation therapy, and personalized immobilization set-ups. Investigating new and old techniques can translate to cost-effective methods to improve accuracy of tumor delineation and radiation delivery. Improved accuracy of radiation therapy translates to reduction in adverse side effects, improved local tumor control, and overall improving the welfare of our patients. I also have strong research interests in advanced imaging for cancer staging, prognostication, and treatment response evaluation.
