In my over 20 years of experience as a Medical Physicist in Human Oncology, I have had the opportunity to grow as a clinical expert, academic, educator, mentor, and leader. I am excited to bring my medical physics knowledge to the Cornell College of Veterinary Medicine through research, education, and clinical support. I serve in a variety of provincial, national, and international professional societies, including Medical Physics for World Benefit and the American Association of Physicists in Medicine. I have a keen interest in cultivating and fostering future leaders into the profession of medical physics, and I am passionate about sharing knowledge of what medical physicists do with the public and in improving global access to cancer care. My current research interests are in supporting my new lab - VAIDER Lab, Veterinary AI in Diagnostic Imaging and Radiotherapy.
