Dr. Jordan is a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Dermatology and a PhD student in Comparative Biomedical Sciences at North Carolina State University's College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Jordan is working on his dissertation research in the laboratory of Dr. Zhi Liu in the Department of Dermatology at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill's School of Medicine. Originally from Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, Dr. Jordan received a Bachelor of Science degree in Marine Biology from Dalhousie University (Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada) in 2008 and attended veterinary school at the University of Guelph (Guelph, Ontario, Canada) where he received a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 2014. Thereafter, Dr. Jordan successfully completed a one-year rotating internship in Small Animal Medicine and Surgery at the Ohio State University (Columbus, Ohio, USA) from 2014-2015. Dr. Jordan worked as a Small Animal Emergency Veterinarian at the same institution for one year prior to starting a three-year residency in Veterinary Dermatology at the University of California at Davis (Davis, California, USA). Dr. Jordan completed his residency and became board-certified by the American College of Veterinary Dermatology in 2019.
