The 3rd Annual COHA Data Sharing Workshop, will be held Oct 6-7 2020, hosted online by Colorado State University.  COHA is supporting efforts to enable and improve the controlled sharing of Veterinary Electronic Health Records (EHR) based on the OHDSI OMOP standard developed for human medicine.  Tufts, UC Davis and Colorado State are currently participating in a proof-of-concept to translate their native EHRs into OMOP  and to adopt an infrastructural framework, “TRANSLATOR”, that extends the OHDSI OMOP framework for veterinary use and the management and mining of data resources.  In this workshop we will review our project goals and progress from technical and governance perspectives, provide background to understand how this initiative has developed and is being pursued, and opportunities for collaboration, network growth, and increasing awareness in the COHA community.
